Your money supports some of the most significant agencies in the County which offer a variety of programs and services. Your dollars are well spent. United Way makes certain that Member Agencies are fiscally responsible and meeting genuine needs. United Way works hard to achieve its mission while keeping its own costs to a minimum. United Way of Queen Anne’s County is well managed by a diverse, hardworking Board of Directors. Designated contributions are sent directly to the Member Agency without United Way retaining fees. Your money makes a difference. United Way provides the most difficult funds for an organization to raise – administrative costs, scholarships, new program costs. Just ask our Member Agencies, they will tell you that United Way dollars make a difference.

The United Way of Queen Anne’s County was established in 1990 in response to public requests for an agency to coordinate community service organizations. Annual fundraising campaigns have resulted in more than $2 M being raised and distributed over the years.
Donor Privacy Policy:
We will not sell, share or trade donors’ names or personal information with third-party advertisers, and will not send mailings to our donors on behalf of other organizations. All personal information volunteered by donors as part of the donation process is for use by authorized employees, contractors, board members, advisors and volunteers for purposes related to the United Way of Queen Anne’s County, which may include processing donations, expressing appreciation and providing receipts, record keeping, reporting as required by law, internal analytic purposes, further contact with donors for additional fundraising, and donor recognition in United Way’s publicly displayed materials.
